Volunteers, Partners & Sponsors

The Troup Cares Network and Clinic are blessed and honored to have an outstanding group of local supporters.  These individuals and organizations make it possible for our network and clinic to function.

Network Partners --- The Network Partners of Troup Cares, Inc. provide support to the target population for our clinic within Troup County, Georgia.  These partners are invaluable to the overall operation of the clinic and the provision of proper medical care to our patients.  The following Network Partners provide services to the Troup Cares Network / Clinic.

First United Methodist Church – LaGrange, Georgia --- This Network Partner provides pharmaceutical support to many of our patients along with individuals that are not a part of the Troup Cares Network / Clinic.  In collaboration between the clinic, the church, and Corley Drugs we are able to assist in the procurement of much need Rx assistance.  This is an invaluable resource.  The First United Methodist Church provides a member to the Troup Cares, Inc. Board of Directors.

First Baptist Church on the Square --- The First Baptist Church on the Square in LaGrange, Georgia, provides on-site dental services to the patients of the Troup Cares Free Clinic.  This service is provided within a clinic that is located on the church campus.  This is a prime example of the network in motion.

Medical Park Foundation --- The Medical Park Foundation provides our clinic facility to Troup Cares on a no fee basis.  We are simply responsible for utilities.

West Georgia Health (Hospital) --- The West Georgia Health (Hospital) is a Network / Clinic Partner that is critical to our operations.  The Sr. VP for Operations of the hospital sits on our Troup Care, Inc. Network Board of Directors while guiding services that are invaluable to us.

  1. The WGH provides our clinic with all of our required patient lab work.
  2. The WGH provides our clinic with all of our required patient film work.
  3. The WGH provides our clinic with all of our required clinical training such as HIPAA.
  4. The WGH provides in house services and admissions on an as needed basis.
  5. The hospital pharmacy provides guidance with our pharmaceutical needs assessment.
  6. The clinic has a number of volunteer nurses that provide their time and talents to the clinic.

LaGrange Personal Aid --- Our patient screening is provided by LaGrange Personal Aid which is a local United Way agency.  Each potential patient is provided a through screening and initial clinic appointment prior to visiting our clinic.  LaGrange Personal Aid is able to direct many non-qualified individuals to other areas of assistance within the community.

Corley Drugs --- Corley Drugs works with our clinic medical staff on a daily basis providing pharmaceutical advice and guidance for our patients.  The association between the Troup Cares Clinic and Corley Drugs provides the best value for the individual patient.  A Member of the Corley Drugs management team sits on the Board of Directors of Troup Cares.

Genesis Physicians --- The Genesis Physicians group provides the majority of the physicians that provide their time and talents to the Troup Cares Clinic.  These physicians provide the core of our medical staff.  The management group of this organization provides much needed and sought after advice and direction for our clinic operations.  A Member of the Genesis Physicians group sits on the Board of Directors of Troup Cares.  

Southern Orthopedics --- As a member of the Genesis Physicians group Southern Orthopedics is a partner within our network.  They offer invaluable services and support to our patients.

Southern Cardiopulmonary Associates. --- As a member of the Genesis Physicians group Southern Cardiopulmonary Associates is a partner within our network.  They off invaluable services and support to our patients.

United Way --- Even though the Troup Cares Network and Clinic is not a member of the local United Way we do receive support and guidance from this organization.  The president of the United Way is an original member of the Board of Directors of Troup Cares, Inc.

Palmetto Health Council --- The Palmetto Health Council provides services that cover individuals that do not qualify for our clinic and services to those that have transportation issues in the northwestern areas of our county.

Valley Healthcare System --- The Valley Health Care System provides support and guidance to our clinic and network and we are in discussions covering additional projects that will enhance our service area.

  • Other areas providing critical mission support include Gay and Joseph CPA PC along with Thornton & Graham. P.C. Attorneys at Law which provide both financial and legal guidance as required.  The Center for Community Studies provides assistance within the grant writing and project / clinic evaluation arenas.
